- Follow the directions of the Range Safety Officer (RSO); they are the final authority on airworthiness and safety issues
- A flight card must be filled out for each flight; it can be found on our website and at the field on launch day
- All rockets must go through a safety check-in with RSO before each flight
- Bring your rocket and flight card to the LCO for pad assignment, starter/ignitor not installed
- Spectators stay behind the LCO table
- Air horn indicates a flight danger warning -- look up, point to incoming rocket to warn others
General Rules for the Launch Site
- Parking is in a cornfield along a “farm road” to an irrigation pivot; if muddy, parking is along 100 E.
- All vehicles stay on the farm road – do not drive out into the field without permission
- Please pick up any trash that you see
- Pets must be on a leash
- Cross fences at gates; please be aware of electric fence west of flight line
- Ask for assistance to recover rockets from trees
- Do not attempt to recover rockets from overhead wires
- Ask for landowner permission to retrieve a rocket on private property outside the established boundaries
